Zebras Get It Right, Barely

You have to wonder about some of the officiating in the NFL these days. Cleveland makes a game tying field goal that hit the back support of the upright and the officials initially MISS the call.

Fortunately for gamblers and obsessive-compulsive sports fans, they got it right. But should it be that hard? Two officials standing directly aside the 18'6" crossbar BOTH don't see it. What the $&#@ are you fellas watching?

I don't bet on football games so I've got no skin in this game, but I do like to see the correct calls.

They didn't make a call because they weren't sure about the rule. That's why they went into discussion. If they called it no good, then the game would have been over because the play would be unreviewable

Weren't sure of the rule? If it hit the support part of the uprights then that means it passed through the uprights. What's so difficult about that? I did not see the play, because as I mentioned in the locker room, the NFL hates it's fans.

As I said as they we not technically reviewing the play, 'Only the Browns.'
