Zach Randolph to the Knicks? Ok!

In case you didn't hear, it appears the New York Knicks are sending Channing Frye and Steve Francis to the Jailblazers for Zach Randolph (and Dan Dickau and Fred Jones). The Blazers are making room for Oden, and the Knicks are trying to do something. Well anything to get better.
At first glance, I wasn't sure that I liked it. Two extra years over Francis' large contract. Off the court issues. I wanted the Knicks to clean out the long deals and start over. This is a big though, and a big that can board. 23/10 last year. Curry will look a lot better next to him. And the huge contract isn't so bad if Randolph plays up to it.
Could Isaiah have made a really good move here? Your thoughts?
I think this makes them immediate division contenders, not that means that much. I like this MUCH better than a Kobe move. Of course, all of this is contingent upon his off the court issues not acting up. Maybe Isaiah brings Bobby Knight in to kick his butt. (I'm not serious about that.)
Starting 5:
C: Eddy Curry
PF: Zach Randolph
SF: David Lee??
SG: Jamal Crawford
PG: Stephon Marbury
I Like It.

The Knicks get a legit PF.
They give up an overrated 2-guard who wants to play the point, and a soft "power" forward.
And they get two guys who have "movable contracts", to coin a term.
What's not to like?
Works for the Blazers, too -- Frye is an adequate backup for Aldridge/Oden (be it at PF or C), and Francis and Roy probably split the guard play, with Jarrett Jack rotating in.
