Young Runs Lackluster 40

Vince Young, University of Texas standout, Rose Bowl hero, ran a 4.58 second 40-yard dash today, tainting an otherwise good workout. Some fear that Young's poor score on the Wonderlic will require him to play wide receiver in the NFL; a slow 40 time could hamper that as well.

Young's stock shot up after the Rose Bowl but has dropped precipitously since. He is alleged to be at best the third QB listed on most draft boards.

The 4.58 was his slower time. He also ran a 4.49. The last thing anyone needs to worry about is his speed on a 40 yard dash. He's got all the speed he needs on the field.
