OMFG not another rant about mythical roid rage. It's a frickin myth man. Extra testosterone makes you feel healthy, good and confident. It doesn't turn you into a homicidal maniac. Go try some good Winstrol or Turinabol before you start talking about things you don't know anything about. It will improve your mood, not make you mean. At least if you are a guy. I don't know WTF it does to women. It's certainly not natural for them to be putting testosterone into their system any more than it would be natural for me to pump estrogen. Anyway, point being, especially for middle-aged men who don't take mega doses of steriods - it's just a form of hormone replacement therapy. Can make you feel better, look better, heal faster, maintain bone mass, stimulate the immune system, improve your confidence and help preserve muscle mass that age relentlessly takes away. So why does it make any sense that steriods are scheduled drugs with possession being a federal felony offense? Does it make any sense to treat someone using steriods like they are a crackhead? Steroids are legal for personal use in most European countries, including England. They have many legitimate medical uses. The laws and society's attitudes, toward what is nothing more than synthetic male hormone, are really warped.

I never said we disagree on everything, Jamelle. The banning of ephedra was plain wrong and misguided by people looking to make names for themselves (Congressmen and grieving wives). It was a whip-snap reaction to Fat Ass Bechler not having enough brain cells to not eat the elephant dosage and slap on a rubber suit while disregarding water and common sense.

Ephedra works. Like anything else (go drink 5 gallons of water without peeing and you'll die - eat a pound of salt) take massive amounts and suffer the consequences.

Of course it grows wildly all over the American West (also known as Mormon Tea) so wait until the say you can't grow your own ephedra! Make it outlawed like another plant that works wonderfully. Of course, marijuana is the one substance you CAN'T kill yourself with massive amounts of: unless a 50 lb bale falls off of a stack of bales and hits you on the head. Even still, you might live but you'd need to smoke a joint to cure the headache.

Congress reacts, it doesn't act. They banned tryptamine (a naturally occurring amino acid) in 1988. Why? 2 people died when they consumed a tainted batch from a shady importer. FDA does not regulate tryptamine as it is not food or a drug, but a "food additive", so instead of making sure we could all get GOOD, REAL tryptamine in the stores, they banned it.

What is tryptamine? An amino acid. That's it. You know that sleepy feeling you get after too much turkey? tryptamine is a natural sleep aid that is amazingly effective and non-addictive. Banned.

Im not giving him an excuse. It was a horrible crime that took place and if he were alive to do it, I would say he needs to be punished to full extent of the law. Guns do not fall under the same catagory as steroids and drugs. Drugs and Steroids have the ability to alter to the way a person thinks and behaves. Not granting them an excuse of "oh Im high so I can be a jackass" but it gives them the tools they need to become that jackass. And if that can be avoided and stopped then it should be.
