keep it clean. this isnt clean. and the big valbowski is a nickname for wrestler Val Venis, who acts as a ladies man. He was at his peak in terms of ability and popularity in the mid to late 1990's. he is famous for his terry cloth towel that he wears all the time.

I watch wrestling when I can and yet I'm still disgraced that Val Venis's name is even mentioned on Armchair.

I feel this must be mentioned. Several times on Armchair people have spoke about what is a sport? Chess? Darts? Soccer? Professional Wrestling is not a sport!!! It is entertainment can we all agree that if the outcome is predetemined. So in no way can that let it be catagorized as a sport. As much as I may watch it, enjoy it, or follow it religously (I don't, but if I did). It's not a sport. There may be some athletes competing in it, still not a sport. I just want to be clear many signs may point to sport, yet still NOT A SPORT!

OK this tops it. "Heel"(bad guys)wrestlers try to get "heat"(hate for their character)by insulting the fans of whatever city/town they are in. call the citizens worthless,insult the cities sports hero and even insult the current teams in that city.

3 weeks ago there was a showdown on WWE program Raw (mondays @9pm on USA) and the participants were "Edge"-John Cena- and RVD(rob van dam) and Edge is on the mic abusing the 2 other participants in an upcoming match by saying they are like the teams of Philadelphia (the show was in philly..obviously) he said that "john cena is like the phillies just not good enough to win a championship" "rob van dam (who was the current champ) is like the Eagles, good enough to get to the big show but not good enough win it" and then he said that he "was like T.O. (terrell owens for numbskulls) and couldn't wait to leave philadelphia!!" and that is one of the funniest things when they say about leaving said city. Chris jericho once said at a show in Toronto (mind you he is a canadien) that "he realized as he walked the streets of Toronto today,admirering the blues skies,the green grass and greeting his fellow torontonians, That this Place Sucks!"

i don't know i find that pretty hilarious.
