Wouldn't THIS be ironic?

As much as you liked it or didn't (where I fall), Barry Bonds is now the all-time home run leader in baseball. Even though I think it's a travesty I take solace in the fact that I have a chance in my lifetime to see it broke again...by A-Rod. And if he stays healthy it seems like a good bet it will happen. But that is another topic for another day.
What I was thinking about is this possibility. We have the chance to see both the all-time hits leader and the all-time home run leader not make the Hall of Fame. And yes, I know, everybody is saying that Bonds is a shoe-in to get inducted but remember something...the jury is still out on this and Bonds while not convicted, hasn't been cleared of anything either. I still can't believe his personal trainer chose to rot in jail instead of talking. So let's say he is indicted ...what a black eye and shame for baseball what I said above would be. And to that effect I ask you this question...who deserves to be in the Hall of Fame out of these 2 guys. Rose? Bonds? Both? Neither? How do you think this is going to pan out people?
