Worst and Best Scenarios

On the eve of what looks to be a tremendous finish to the MLB season, I have doubts. Not about whether or not my team will make the playoffs, but rather about an anticlimactic finish.
With all these tiebreaker scenarios floating about, wouldn't it be a shame if we didn't have any one-game playoffs?
That could happen if:
- New York Mets and San Diego Padres win, Philadelphia Phillies lose.
- Phillies and Padres win, Mets lose.
- Phillies win, Padres, Mets, Colorado Rockies lose.
- Mets win, Padres, Phillies, Rockies lose.
Here's what I hope happens:
- Mets win
- Phillies win
- Padres lose
- Rockies win
If that happens, we're in for an exciting 3 days of one-game playoffs.
Monday:
Mets @ Philadelphia
Tuesday:
Philadelphia @ San Diego
OR
San Diego @ Philadelphia
Wednesday:
Philadelphia @ Colorado
OR
San Diego @ Colorado
OR
Mets @ Colorado
I don't know about you, but I was talking Romiezzo about it, and you've just got to love baseball when it's like this. I just hope we get a chance to see as many one-game playoffs as possible. Tim Kurkjian might explode.
