How about the Indiana Pacers v. Detroit Piston game that resulted in the Pacers, led by Ron Artest, going into the stands and brawling with fans?

Anybody remember the incedint a few years ago with the Pawtucket Red Sox (Sox triple-A team) when the PawSox batter was hit by a pitch, then kicked the catcher in the face and tried to fight the entire other team? That was a nice one...

I guess I can stop looking for that clip now.

nothing was as bad as they hockey player getting cold-cocked. the guy who did it should have been charged with assault.

There was a greek basketball player years back that fouled out in a championship game, then frustrated he slammed his head against the basket support and broke his neck, paralyzing himself....how about the ump that was stabbed by a fan in the 1940's?? Marichal's bat wiedling, Kermit Washington breaking Rudy T's face, Ray Chapman getting killed by a pitch... this list was poorly research, redundantly worn out and wwwweak... there's a big difference between a boneheaded, emotional play and an 'incidence'... boo!

I think you got that about right. The brawl at auburn hills is easily the worst with the hit from bertuzzi on moore coming in at a close second.

It is definitely not "worst" sports incidents, but definitely one of the funniest: Last year, a Cincinnati Bengals fan runs onto the field mid-play as the Green Bay Packers are attempting a game tying drive. After the play is whistled dead, the fan steals the ball from the hands of a stunned Brett Favre and runs away. I was laughing so hard.

I saw something many years ago that was pretty bad. It was a soccer match, and a player had a fast break, he was nearing the goalie box and so the goalie came out to meet him, as the offensive player crossed into the box the goalie jumped at him and put his knee into the guys neck killing him. i looked for the video but couldn't find it anywhere.

I've added a new one. Its pretty brutal.

How about the one where the 14 year old kid beat up this other kid in a youth league basketball game. That was pretty brutal and disgusting.

It might be predictable, but I had to add Tyson biting Holyfield's ear. Although it was grotesque, it's certainly not the worst thing we've seen. What puts it in the worst sports incidents for me is that this really seemed to be the beginning of the decline in popularity of heavyweight boxing.

Kermit Washington crushing Rudy T's face is the one I've been looking for all over and can not find. Anybody have a link??

I've wanted to see the Kermit Washington/Rudy T video too, and haven't found it despite looking...If anyone can find it, it would be cool.
