World Soccer Young Player of the Year

World Soccer Magazine is an English language football magazine published by IPC Media. It specializes in the international football scene. Since 1982 World Soccer has organized "Player of the Year", "Manager of the Year", and "Team of the Year" awards.

In 2005, the award for the best "Young Player of the Year" was introduced.

The award has seen just two winners to date:

  • 2006- Lionel Messi (Flag of Argentina Argentina; FC Barcelona)
  • 2005- Robinho (Flag of Brazil Brazil; Real Madrid)
