Born on August 19, 1966 in Houston, Texas, Woody Williams (Gregory Scott Williams) played for the Toronto Blue Jays, San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 14 year career. Williams broke into the bigs on May 14, 1993 with the Toronto Blue Jays, and put up a 3.64 ERA in 59.1 innings pitched in 1994, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Woody Williams's best season was 2003, when he posted a 3.87 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 153 batters.
