Woody Dow (Jess Elwood Dow) was born on December 16, 1916 in Littlefield, Texas. Dow attended West Texas A&M University. Dow made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1938 was Woody Dow's best year.
