Women Who Love Their Pigskin…Where You at?

It’s a given the women aren’t as big into sports as we are. The the question is, why do we marry them? It’s a realistic one to ask…If we honestly think about it, besides the three F’s that’s all they are good for. What are the three F’s? Feed me…**** me….And shut the **** up, I’m trying to watch the game! That’s it in a nutshell…As long as the three F’s are understood it’s a relationship to be in! Another good relationship to be in, that is if you can be lucky enough to find one, is a woman that loves her pigskin! Impossible? I agree, but it’s getting more and more prevalent to do so!
Ever wonder why every NFL has those God awful pink jerseys? Of course, it’s for the women…To reach out to more and more females. Question…Which color do the Cleveland Browns look better in? Shit ass brown or looking like the pink taco? For some unknown reason, women love the pigskin…Then again, we can never figure them out!
According to a Scarborough Sports Marketing survey of 220,354 residents in 75 United States markets conducted last year, Pittsburgh has, by far, the largest base of NFL fans who are women. Pittsburgh is the runaway leader, with 34 percent of the women living in the Steelers' market identifying themselves as fans. Green Bay was second with 29.4 percent, but no other market surveyed had even one-quarter of its women identify themselves as fans. So if any bachelors out there, (myself included) is looking for a broad who understands the 3-4 defense and makes Brooke, (the current battle ax sitting at the crib whose Sunday activity involves her getting a massage & toenails painted) then book yourself on the next flight to The Burgh immediately! I know it’s a depressing city, but when it comes to building a female fan base, Pittsburgh does it better than any other NFL market. Hey, it’s either "The Burgh" or Packer territory which came in second…Although let it be known that in Green Bay the likelihood of coming across a lovely lady named Bessy is pretty damn high! Can I get a MMMMMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
If Green Bay isn’t your cup of milk perhaps Buffalo, which was third with 23.7 percent might be. Do I hear Cincinnati perhaps? They came in fourth (22.8 percent)…Kansas City maybe (22.4 percent)? Go visit the scumbag city in Florida… Jacksonville, perhaps (21.7 percent)? Followed by Baltimore and Boston (21.5 percent) and Denver, Tampa-St. Petersburg and Washington, D.C. (20.9 percent). So do I hear, "Road Trip" anyone? Who’s coming with me? Although I must say, how in the hell is Jacksonville ranked that high? First of all they have no fans to begin with! They have to make like they’re a WNBA franchise and put black tarps over all the seats nobody wants to buy in Alltel Stadium! Where the biggest football game every year in that city is a collegiate one! Secondly, isn’t this the heart of NASCAR country? You talk about depressing! Even more depressing might be Chicago women…Where you at bitches? For a city well known for it’s die-hards…Where are the lovely lady humps? You go
Nationally, the average was 16 percent, which means, (if you do the math) that Pittsburgh has more than twice the number of female pro football fans than the average market, based on the survey's results. Go Steeler Women!! However, not surprising…Everybody knows Pittsburgh houses the best all around fan base, but now the Steelers have proof that when it comes to building a female fan base, Pittsburgh does it better than any other NFL market. Looks like all those Pink Taco Ben Rgukggvgfvfvmkyfvfg, ghjv jerseys are paying dividends…Motorcycle helmet sold separately! Now if they can only get proof that Bill Belechick had "inside, top secret information" in the 2005 AFC Championship!
Some additional informational tidbits to chew on…According to a survey also taken by Scarborough Sports Marketing before the February 2006 Super Bowl in which the Steelers beat Seattle 21-10, Pittsburgh was the top market for fan loyalty in the NFL, with 64 percent of all consumers saying they were "very or somewhat interested" in the NFL.
The leaders in other categories in the latest survey:
-- Fans between the ages of 18 and 24: Green Bay, 8.0 percent.
-- Fans who are college graduates: Washington, D.C., 20 percent.
-- Fans who are African-American: Washington, D.C, 12.8 percent.
-- Fans who are Hispanic: Miami-Fort Lauderdale, 12.1 percent….No kidding, You don’t say! Wow, I’m floored!
-- Fans who earn over $75,000: Washington, D.C., 30.7 percent.
-- Fans who earn over $100,000: Washington, D.C., 21.4 percent.
-- Fans in households with at least one child: Green Bay, 25.8 percent.
