Witten signs six-year extension with Cowboys

Pro Bowl TE Jason Witten has signed a new deal that will allow him to stay with the Dallas Cowboys for 6 more years. The deal is said to be worth $28 million dollars with a $12 million signing bonus included.

roffle... nice job to get Witten locked up. As long as Drew Bledsoe can hold up, the offense should be pretty potent.

Great contract for the Cowboys. As good as Dan Campbell was, Witten is the best tight end Dallas has had since Novacek. BigPPup's right - he doesn't get any of the love, because he's not flashy like Gates and Gonzalez, and he's not controversial like Shockey. He's just a great tight end that does his job blocking AND receiving.

The proble is Bledsoe stands there like a statue and Witten is coverd or bledsoe is sacked by the time he should of threw the ball. And you wonder why T.O. is so pissed.
