Tonight was a night of disaster for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The offense played so poorly that kicker Mark Myers never even got a shot at kicking a field goal.

The Ticats were playing without their starting quarterback, Jason Maas, who is out with a hip pointer. Backup Kevin Eakin, who started three games for Hamilton last year, could find no way to get through the Winnipeg Blue Bomber defense. He threw three interceptions and even when he did get the ball off there were no receivers in the area. The offensive line gave up 5 sacks and the offense had two other turnovers.

The game was so lop-sided that it doesn't even deserve a quarter-by-quarter recap.

The Bombers scored 9 points in the first quarter, 13 points in the second quarter, 0 in the third and 7 in the fourth.

Final stat leaders Winnipeg. QB Kevin Glenn went 18 of 31 for 235 yards with two touchdowns and two picks. RB Charles Roberts had 21 rushes for 129 yards with one touchdown. SB Milt Stegall had 11 receptions for 162 yards and 0 touchdowns, still 4 from the record. K Troy Westwood was 2/2 on field goals and 3/3 on extra points.

Final stat leaders Hamilton. QB Kevin Eakin was 10 of 24 for 64 yards. RB Corey Holmes had 6 rushes for 28 yards. WR Mike Morreale had 2 receptions for 32 yards.
