Both teams brought in their number one pivots from knee injuries. Both had sat out the last two games, both quarterbacks looked a bit rusty in their aerial games, but only Kerry Joseph led his team to the victory. Thanks to that healed knee.

Winnipeg's Milt Stegall made a touchdown catch, edging himself ever closer to the touchdown record. Milt's 134th touchdown came on a eight-yard pass from Kevin Glenn.

But all that being said, the game was a blowout from the starting gun. The Green Riders took it to the Bombers early and often.
