Winningest


Call me a grammar Nazi, call this a waste of time, but I cannot stand hearing the sports term winningest (and losingest). To have a superlative form of a word, there must be a comparative form. Winninger, and losinger, are grammatically incorrect. So therefore, winningest does not exist. This has been Grammar Nazi lessons with SSAdolfreporters.
