Win Ballou

Born on November 30, 1897 in Mount Morgan, Kentucky, Win Ballou (Noble Winfred Ballou) played for the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and Brooklyn Robins over the course of his 4 year career. Ballou broke into the bigs on August 24, 1925 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 4.79 ERA in 154 innings pitched in 1926, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Win Ballou's best season was 1926, when he posted a 4.79 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 59 batters.
