Wilton Veras (Wilton Andres Veras) was born on January 19, 1978 in Monte Cristi, Monte Cristi (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on July 1, 1999 for the Boston Red Sox. In 2000, his rookie year, he hit .244 with 0 home runs and 14 RBI. Veras played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 2 year career.
