Willis Smith (Willis M. Smith) was born on July 2, 1910 in Lexngton, Nebraska. After going to high school at Boise (ID), Lexington (NE) and Sheridan (WY), Smith attended the University of Idaho. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1934 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
