Willie Thrower (Willie L. Thrower) was born on March 22, 1930 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at New Kensington (PA), Thrower attended Michigan State University. Thrower made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
