Willie Richardson (Willie Louis Richardson) was born on November 17, 1939 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. After going to high school at Coleman (Greenville, MS), Richardson attended Jackson State University. Richardson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Willie Richardson's best year, as he hauled in 63 receptions, had 860 receiving yards and caught 8 TD passes.
