Willie Brister (Willie Jerry Brister) was born on January 28, 1952 in Tylertown, Mississippi. After going to high school at Baton Rouge (LA), Brister attended Southern University. Brister made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Willie Brister's best year.
