Willie Banks (Willie Green Banks) was born on March 17, 1946 in Greenville, Mississippi. After going to high school at O'Bannon (Greenville, MS), Banks attended Alcorn State University. Banks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.
