Willie Aikens

Willie Aikens (Willie Mays Aikens) was born on October 14, 1954 in Seneca, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on May 17, 1977 for the California Angels. In 1979, his rookie year, he hit .280 with 21 home runs and 81 RBI. Aikens played for the California Angels, Kansas City Royals and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that Willie Aikens's best season was 1980, when he slugged 20 home runs, hit for a .278 average and knocked in 98 runs.
