Williams Surgery on Monday

I was wrong in my comments last night.

Ricky Williams will be heading into surgery on Monday to repair his broken arm. The team expects Williams to be out four weeks.

Williams has had trouble adjusting to the Canadian game. This season, he has had 53 carries for 214 yards.

Anyone will have troubles adjusting, but he was still 6th in the league in rushing yards.

It just goes to show how unimportant the running game is in the CFL. Teams still need a running back to keep the defense honest, but really it is a passing league.

There are so many combos of drugs that can be employed, that I doubt it will be much of an issue.
