Williams Heading Home After Sexual Assault Accusation

The Toronto Argonauts have stated that offensive tackle Bernard Williams has returned home to Atlanta.

Williams, a former first-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles and a member of the Argos since 2003, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman that he met Monday night. He is out on $100,000 bail posted by Argos president Keith Pelley. Williams has been given permission by the Canadian government to return home. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on September 29th.

Well done to Erooster for another successful misleading headline to get us all interested in CFL! (I thought this would be about Ricky Williams) I don't blame him, I know how he feels - I have the same problem with snooker articles.

me too! I thought some chick was bogarting the blunt from Ricky and he tried to take things 'into his own hands'... I wanted to remember Bernard as the flop he was in Philly, now I don't have to! But it's good to see he has kept himself 'busy' - although I'll reserve final judgement after the accusations turn to conviction. No, he's still a bust! The fact that he's in Atlanta tells me not much will happen here. Do the Bungles need some help at OL?
