Born on December 27, 1869 in Adamsburg, Pennsylvania, Bill Bishop (William Robinson Bishop) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Stockings over the course of his 3 year career. Bishop broke into the bigs on September 13, 1886 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
