Born on March 25, 1919 in Quanah, Texas, Bill Evans (William Lawrence Evans) played for the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 2 year career. Evans broke into the bigs on April 21, 1949 with the Chicago White Sox.
