William Gordon Conroy

Bill Conroy (William Gordon Conroy) was born on February 26, 1915 in Bloomington, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 21, 1935 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1942, his rookie year, he hit .200 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI. Conroy played for the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 6 year career.
