Born on October 8, 1972 in Gallup, New Mexico, Willie Adams (William Edward Adams) played for the Oakland Athletics for his entire 2 year career. Adams broke into the bigs on June 11, 1996 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 4.01 ERA in 76.1 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
