Bill Schwartz (William August Schwartz) was born on April 3, 1864 in Jamestown, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on May 3, 1883 for the Columbus Colts. Schwartz played for the Columbus Colts and Cincinnati Outlaw Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
