Chick Autry (William Askew Autry) was born on January 2, 1885 in Humboldt, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1907 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1909, his rookie year, he hit .194 with 0 home runs and 17 RBI. Autry played for the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Doves over the course of his 2 year career.
