Will the Dolphins Run the Table? Will Cam Cameron be One and Done?

Both are very legitimate questions to ask. So much has been made about New England running the table and posting a 19-0 record and surpassing the 1972 Dolphins as the best team in history…The current 2007 Dolphins are chasing history as well. Having the dubious distinction of going goose egg for the season. And at this point it would appear the Floundering Fish are heading in that direction!
Sunday's game was touted as the Dolphins' best remaining chance to avoid the first 0-16 season in NFL history. Instead, they sustained their most lopsided defeat of the year. Thing is, they gave up 40 points to a team that they were somehow favored by 1 ½ points, which I don’t know how the hell that is considering the Jets already beat them and also knocked off the Steelers. And with that Miami extended a franchise-record losing streak to 15 games, and Cam Cameron remained winless as an NFL coach. Not to mention 0-16 looks like a real possibility with only four games left…Although the bright side is, the number one draft pick appears all but a lock!
And speaking of Cam Cameron who poses a 0-12 career record as head coach, well, will it be one and done for him? If San Diego can cuts ties with Marty ball, then well this I guess would be a no brainier, right? Clearly now, that’s the bigger question than will the Dolphins run the table…At this point in time, after yesterday’s “Showcase Showdown”, well, I’ve got better chances of screwing a Playboy Playmate than the Dolphins have of winning a game this season, (no preference on the hair color or if she’s natural or unnatural). Early in the game yesterday, Cameron's play-calling was so conservative that the crowd let out a mock roar when Beck finally threw a pass downfield, even though it fell incomplete. Okay, so you’re a goose egg for the season…This game has been dubbed as your best chance of winning and you go conservative. Clearly that makes sense, yeah about as much as the BCS!
Okay, so we all know the Dolphins got a raw deal when Nick Saban invented the 2007 jam job, but clearly that’s in the past. Surely that isn’t a reason for this mind boggling, mind blowing God awful season…And like with all sports, it goes on the head coach, which, that would be Cam Cameron. To say he hasn’t got the job done is on the same level as saying Michael Vick is a dog lover! So the logical question is will Cameron get kicked to the curb…Is Cam in the same class as Norv Turner? A great offense coordinator, but when it comes to being the big kahuna he sucks balls for lack of a better term!
Dolphins defensive tackle Keith Traylor is 38 years old, he weighs 350 pounds, and he's been in the NFL for 16 years and at this point he's not going to hesitate to speak his mind, even if it means criticizing his coach or his teammates. When asked whether the Dolphins' loss yesterday, which dropped them to 0-12, put head coach Cam Cameron in danger of getting fired, Traylor said this: "I have no idea where this puts Cam," Traylor said. ... "I definitely care, but would I lose any sleep over any way it went? No."
In addition to sleeping well at night, Traylor went on to say of his teammates, "we're all not out to get a victory, which is about as severe an indictment a player can make about the other men in his locker room." This team is in real danger of going 0-16. A very good or should I say bold prediction considering the fact that it’s only four games away…Ladies and Gents, that’s a 16-year vet of the league. It’s clear, nothing gets by him, but why should it…He’s getting good night sleeps every night! ''It definitely crosses your mind, you see what's going on out there,” he went on to say later. Again, very observant!
Einstein didn’t stop there, oh no…The Roy Williams wannabe went on to say this about the mighty Jets… ''They (stink) too.” They beat us. They'll go home happy, and their fans will be happy that they got three wins this year. Good for them. Not to be out done, Jason Taylor chimed in with this…It doesn't seem real to me, 'We're 0-12. It doesn't get much lower.'' Allow me to put this in perspective…While you guys have defined the term “Floundering Fish” very well this season, I’m just guessing the Washington Redskins would give anything to be in your guy’s shoes. You talk about, “It doesn’t get much lower” than this…Why don’t you talk to the Redskins about how much lower shit can get before you go Nick Saban-9/11 on us! So, you’ll be one of the worst teams in sports history…And yes Double C might lose his job, but at least all that’s lost are games and jobs! So stop crying about your situation!
