Wilkin Ruan (Wilkin Chal Ruan) was born on November 18, 1978 in Guaymate, La Romana (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on September 1, 2002 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ruan played for the Los Angeles Dodgers for his entire 2 year career.
