Wilfred Thorpe (Wilfred E. Thorpe) was born on January 8, 1917 in Little Rock, Arkansas. After going to high school at (Little Rock, AR), Thorpe attended the University of Arkansas. Thorpe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1941 was Wilfred Thorpe's best year.
