Wilbur Volz (Wilbur Volz) was born on January 1, 1924 in Edwardsville, Illinois. After going to high school at Edwardsville (IL), Volz attended the University of Missouri. Volz made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 1 year career.
