Wilbur Summers (Wilbur Thomas Summers) was born on August 6, 1954 in Irvington, New Jersey. After going to high school at Norland (Miami, FL), Summers attended the University of Louisville. Summers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
