Wilbur Howard (Wilbur Leon Howard) was born on January 8, 1949 in Lowell, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1973 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .283 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Howard played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Wilbur Howard's best season was 1975, when he stole 32 bases and hit for a .283 average.
