Bob Wickman is now an Atlanta Brave. The Cleveland Indians, with their playoff hopes long since dead, traded the veteran closer to the Braves for Class A catching prospect Max Ramirez. Wickman leaves Cleveland after becoming the club's all-time saves leader with 138. Due to his status as a 10-5 player (10 years in the majors and 5 with his current team), Wickman had to approve the deal.
In the 2006 season with the Rome Braves, Ramirez was hitting .285 (76-267) with 17 doubles, 9 homers and 37 RBI in 80 games and was selected to the 2006 South Atlantic League All-Star Game.
