Why was Chris Leak undrafted?

I have been wondering this for a long time, Why was Chris Leak undrafted? Someone please give me a legitimate answer. He led Florida to a National Championship over the heavily favored Ohio State, in fact, they absolutely crushed them. He has been compared to Brady Quinn who was projected as the number three pick in the draft (even though he ended up getting drafted number 22 overall). But, Leak is also very smart, kind of like Peyton Manning. He is very athletic, and can make pretty much every throw there is. Short pass, or a long fifty-sixty yard pass, and he'll put it right into the hands of his receivers. Leak is practicing with the Chicago Bears, and perhaps if Grossman struggles again this year then maybe Leak will get a well deserved shot at playing time.
