Why the Heat beat the Pistons, period.

God, this was destined to happen. Ever since they got all of their fans after they won the whole thing against the supposed "greatest" team ever in the Lakers, it's like they don't play the same way. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Pistons had the eye of the freaking tiger when they won against the Lakers. Even last year when they lost to the Spurs. They looked like they wanted it. I think that Brown really installed that into their noggins when he was there, that defense wins rings. Too bad Brown really sucks at staying places. The dude should have stayed. Man, it was like the Pistons were like "oh well" when they lost. They didn't want it. My dad puts it best when a team wins: he says that they must have wanted it more. The Pistons wanted it, but not as much as they did in '04. They are a completely different team. They almost lost the freaking Cavs for crying out loud! Man, you have to give credit to the heat for beating them in the first place. They had basically a group of outcasts on their team. White Chocolate is always known for being a selfish guy always trying to get on a highlight reel. Payton desperately wanted a ring. It’s his 5th team in as many years. Posey has bounced around in the league and hasn’t done very much. D-wade wasn't even supposed to do anything in the league, but he has become one of the best players maybe ever. Antoine Walker was regarded as a scapegoat by the Boston Celtics for never living to his potential in Boston with Pierce. Walker has bounced as well with the Mavs for one year and with the Hawks too. Alonzo Mourning wasn’t even supposed to be maybe living right now and he has given everything that the man could ever possess to play and play well at the best level in the world. The guy came back form cancer, and not many can say they have done that. And not forgetting Shaq. The big diesel was dead and left with somewhat of a bad image after his stay in Los Angeles. He was forced out of town by Kobe, and declared that he would win a ring in South Beach as soon as he got with the Heat. The man has an awesome shot this year. All in all, the heat have a lot of credit to be given to them, but some blame had to go to the Pistons. Just goes to show you that no one, except for god and jesus, know what is ever going to happen, ever.
