Why don't Americans ask more stupid questions about Australian "sports"

18

by user Manny Stiles

Dr Commento returns!

Are there any Stupid Questions or just stupid people who ask questions?

Isn't Tallywacking the national sport in Australia? (NO IT ISN'T YOU'VE GOT AUSTRALIA ALL WRONG!) How do Australians enjoy living upside down like that, and how do they not fall off the planet? That's not a knife. THIS is a knife!

Well, I've been gone for a while, but should be returning to full speed soon. It seems I've missed alot and alot of nothing at the same time.

  • While you guys were yucking it up about T.O. non-news, I was in Philadelphia listening to fans talk on and on about how T.O. doesn't matter to them. Meanwhile, the real T.O's family was responding to my article on him
  • There I was in Philly for a funeral, and no one had Byron Nelson in my Sports Celebrity Death pool
  • Speaking of funerals; Pat Burrell seems to be GONE in Philly. Apparently HE's the reason they didn't pitch good enough this year. Anybody need a guy who puts up 30-100 with irritatingly regular ease?
  • James Loney goes for 9 rbi against the Rockies. When was the last time a MLB rookie had 9 rbi or more in one game?? I know the answer.
  • As for Roger Clemens taking PEDs... Don't say I didn't try to warn you!!!

Let the playoffs begin and the baseball writing on this site get some well deserved publicity! Make your efforts count, y'all!

Let's start a list

In the spirit of commenting... Answer in the comments section the answer to ANY of these three questions and everyone else will guess which question your answers are to!

Who is the LEAST LIKELY possible World Series Champ???

Which teams are LEAST LIKELY to make the playoffs again next year???

Which teams are MOST LIKELY to surprise people in the playoffs?

Glad to be back y'all!
