Why do the Seahawks "get no respect"?

Come on, we dominate the NFC West, we were a couple of defensive breakdowns from going to the NFC Championship Game last year, and did all of that with Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander nursing injuries. The one common denominator that all the "experts" think that the Seahawks aren't top notch anymore is because of Steve Hutchinson. I hate when they say that because Maurice Morris was productive in several of his games when Alexander was out of commission, and once Alexander came back to life after a few games, he rushed for 201 yards against Green Bay, and over 100 against Chicago. Maybe it's different with Chicago due to Tommie Harris not being there, but still, when you do that against Chicago, you know you're doing something right. Let's look at some bullet points on why the Seahawks don't get a whole lot of respect.
- We dominate the NFC West. Which is like saying you're dominating a bunch of High-Schoolers.
- Luck. Come on people, you know that when Tony Romo dropped the ball, that was pure luck.
- Severe lack of stars. Outside of Hasselbeck, Alexander, and Deion Branch, try and name the starting 11 for both the offense and defense of Seattle.
- Too many injuries. It's not the loss of Hutchinson that severely hurt the team's running game and pass protection, it's the number of injuries that piled up. Practically none of those guys were healthy, and the lack of chemistry killed them last season.
- Josh Brown kicked 4 game winning field-goals. Unfortunately, all 4 of the winners, were against teams that missed the playoffs. Heck, we lost to a lot of easy teams, but contested with the difficult ones. So put that under inconsistency.
Anything else you'd like to add on? Agreements? Disagreements?

school was canceled the following dayeveryone expected Green Bay to beat Seattle because of the weather type. Green Bay got their butts kicked eventually.
