Who is the Best Football Broadcast Booth Ever?

by Alanschech

I am sitting watching the Sunday night game tonight, listening to John Madden and Al Michaels and it brings me to think of this question and get some debate going....What is the best group of football broadcasters ever? If you could have anyone you want call a football game, who would it be? For me, it never got any better than Pat Summerall and John Madden. Agree? Disagree? Please debate and discuss....curious as to opinions.......

I fully agree...Summerall and Madden were the best. Al Michaels isn't all that impressive to me in a football booth.

Nice, but this is a locker room article because it doesn't have enough content.

I am partial to Dick Endberg and Merlin Olsen, I also loved listening to Charlie Jones.

I'm friends with Merlin Olsen, also. He comes over on occasion.

Pat Summerall is the best. I love the way he would describe a play like for instance, "John Elway fires", Touch down, Shannon Sharp" or "Terrell Davis, 65.... yards"
