Just as well, there's only five stars and he clearly deserves seven. =)

Never again put Michael Olowokandi in anything. Especially not today when the T-Puppies fate for the next 3 years is sealed. They need a miracle tonight. David Stern-Would you be kind enough to reinact the original Draft lottery? You know, where the Knicks got Ewing? But this time, the Wolves get Oden or Durant? Please?

Hate to break it to you, but "if" stern "fixes the draft," there's no way Oden/Durant ends up in Minnesota...Maybe New York...maybe Chicago...maybe even Philadelphia, dare I say it...but certainly not Minnesota...its nothing personal, but the concept of that conspiracy, was the need for a big time/prime time player in NYC...there's a reason the lakers are in LA now...

You'd think it wouldn't make sense, but Oden/Durant + KG=Tons of coverage. How would it not help the NBA to give arguably the greatest player of his time one of the best prospects since the class of 03?

Did you just call KG the greatest player of all time... And how would it not help the NBA? Easy...its Minnesota...

Gotta agree with ya there JT, Stern wouldnt fix the draft to aid Minn. Even with Garnett, just not a big enough market. He rather see, NYC or Chi Town get some money back in their pockets. Also if he is gonna fix anything, it will be to make up for the Hell Boston has lived in since Bias back in 85.

Yeah FP, its nothing against you...Minn. just isn't a big market or a team the nation would be willign to watch allt he time...I agree Boston could use it...but I live there and I would loathe them to get a superstar like that...here's the the 6ers and their 9% shot!

Tom Heinsohn won ROY + a title in 1957, and I believe (although I'm not 100% sure) he's the only one to pull off that feat.

Heinsohn, while a good player (I'm not basketball historian) is a terrible color commentator...seriously, he loved this years celtics team like he loved every other years...and this team lost 18 in a row! Bleh Heinsohn...

Yeah, what a homer, he also had a huge man-crush on "Waltah" McCarty a few years back. This blog sums it up best: "Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn get my early vote for worst announcers in the league. These guys announce like Brian Scalabrine plays."

wilt put up 37.6, 27, 2.3 his rookie year...those are probably the best numbers. Everyone talks about Magic's 42-15-7 game 6 in 1980 in the finals over Philly.

Too soon to judge Bargnani (Bogut too). But no Kwame? Come on, he can't be redeemed to the level of a number one pick.
