Where will Joseph Addai go?

Joseph Addai has recently rose his stock in this year’s NFL Draft. There has been a lot of speculation that Addai will go in the first round, possibly to the Indianapolis Colts (30th overall). Joseph ran a 4.37 40 at the combine, something the NFL Scouts weren’t expecting.

"That speed surprised a lot of us," said one NFC personnel director. "We didn’t see it on the tape."

Being a Tiger fan, I love seeing players go high in the draft, but if Addai goes in the first round I will be absolutely ecstatic. Addai has been the definition of an LSU Tiger the past four years at LSU. Joseph just never gave up on any game or any play, which helped him gain the respect of the Tiger Faithful.

I saw a mock draft putting him into the top round. I'd be shocked, honestly. He's a good player but he's the fifth best RB, and if four in the top 29, well, wow.

I think the most realistic place for him to go is in the top 10 picks of the 2nd round. The Jets are a good option, as are the Packers. The only chance I see of him going in the 1st rd is if all the RBs are gone by the time the COlts and Steelers pick, I could see one of them reaching for him.
