Where is the Mets offense, and what impact will the return of Pedro have

Now that the Mets have fired Rick Down and moved HOJO from first base coach, to hitting coach, and hired Rickey to coach 1st, it will be interesting to see the impact it will have on the offense.  So far the Mets are 4-2 after the break averaging 3.6 runs a game.  Also once Pedro comes back it will be interesting to see who is sent back down to make rooom as Sosa continues to pitch decently.

For the offense, I'd say Moises Alou's injury pissed it away.

true, but it wasnt until the loss of Endy that the offense truly took a dive. add to that the fact that we havent beaten a team thats scored more then 4 runs since the chicago comeback, and you have a recipe for disaster if we reach the playoffs
