What the hell does this mean?!


From NFL.com... Can somebody translate this into English please!

"(Shotgun) E.Manning pass short middle to J.Shockey to GB 16 for 14 yards (A.Bigby). Penalty on GB-A.Kampman, Defensive Offside, offsetting, enforced at GB 30 - No Play. Penalty on NYG-J.Shockey, Delay of Game, offsetting."

I know what the Shotgun is, and everything in the first sentence. But two penalties on one play?! And "offsetting"? What does all that mean?

And one more thing...

What is a "Ineligible Downfield Kick"? I can't even begin to think of what could be the cause of it!

Help would be appreciated. :)
