What is your favorite type of basketball: NBA, College, or Street?

NBA Pros: The pinnacle of basketball in terms of skill and recognition. Home of the most talented basketball athletes.

NBA Cons: Image problem. Often cited as a collection of guys just looking to make the big bucks. Too much ego.

College Pros: The athletes play with a lot of heart, and yes, they do cry when they lose. In addition, there really isn't a sense of ego that is prevalent within the NBA.

College Cons: There is an overall lack of defense in the college game. Finally, a lot of the players (nearly everyone) can shoot the three pointer and when coupled with the lack of defense, make the game seem just like a playground shootout.

Street Pros: Extremely entertaining. Ridiculous skills and dunks.

Street Cons: The actual basketball game does not matter. It is basically basketball meets the WWE.

Not much of a basketball fan, but I have to go college here because of two words: March Madness!

Agreed... nothing beats march madness. Although this year's NBA playoffs have been pretty fun to watch, I'd still give the edge to college.

the NBA because of all the great superstars we have these days, this years play offs showed that we have one of the best classes of superstars in NBA history. 20 years down the road people will remember Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwayne Wade all playing in the same era and think wow....... i wish i could have seen those guys

yeah, but could you imagine kobe and wade, or wade, lebron and carmello playing in the same march madness tournaments? what if elton brand or zach randolph had stayed all 4 years at their schools? wouldn't that have made for some incredible tv?

NBA. I don't like watching college because it seems like they pass the ball around the perimeter for 90% of the shot clock and then miss a jumper. Also, I don't think college is anymore exciting actual play-wise, I think it's the drunk college kids that are usually visible that give the college game an air of excitement.

College, unquestionable. Chacchi, If I could give multiple points, you'd get them. No doubt MM is awesome. If any of you have ever worked in an office, you'll understand. The NBA is so typical and it gets tiring. CBB has new stars every year, more parody and the one and done style works (Look at football).
