What Will Happen to Joe Saunders and the Angels of Anaheim

Because of the success of starting Angels pitcher Joe Saunders, I'm wondering what'll happen to him this offseason?

It is tough to imagine Joe Saunders not starting for the Angels next season, but if Bartolo Colon is healthy and returns, Saunders would be sixth in the current alignment of the rotation with Kelvim Escobar, John Lackey, Ervin Santana and Jered Weaver in the mix. A trade of one of the six is logical, but not probable with Stonehman as the GM. Saunders is their only lefty and please please keep.

I'm also wondering wondering if its better for LAA to miss the playoffs, which would expose some holes that Stonehman can't ignore. It might force him to make a move (via trade or free agency), making LA better in the future.

They would def. not get rid of a young lefty...maybe do what the Chisox did with McCarthy...

He probably has trade value. I'd give him up for a big-time hitter. Cough, Cough sign and trade for Soriano. I'd prefer to trade Colon. OVERATED!!!!!!!!!!!
